I have a viking hottub that is about 4 years old now. Every summer I drain it, and keep it closed up. I refilled it with water a couple days ago, and made sure there was no air in the lines below. I flipped the breaker for power but I am only getting a clicking sound coming from the mother board. The well light (where you put your feet) is also blinking in sync with the clicking sound. The display screen also says "Pr" which means priming, but the manual says that should only last less than 5 minutes. It lasted 20 minutes before I shut it the breaker off again.
I have tried several things already. I put a hose down the filter hole while it was running to push air out. It sounded like it was doing something to that effect, but it was still clicking and flashing the light. I flipped the breaker to see if it would just reset and go to normal operation, but it only continued clicking/blinking and now the pump will not turn on at all.
I also loosened a joint down where the tube goes to the heating elements, and let any air leave at that point. It had no effect.
While the pumps were working that one time, I also hit the jets button, and they came on but would not turn off.
These are all wierd problems and I have no idea how they could be connected but any input would be appreciated. Thanks
